PLENTY FOR YOU TO THINK ABOUT...

Stoves have put together a range of modern and innovative hobs designed to inspire anyone in the kitchen. These smart and revolutionary creations give you the choice of gas, electric of induction cooking. The descriptions of each are outlined below:

Electric Hobs

We offer a wide range of electric hobs. From the traditionally styled sealed plate electric hob to the pure style of flush fitting black glass ceramic hobs. Some also combine halogen technology, giving you the radiant heat of ceramic cooking zones plus the extra power of halogen when you need it.

Gas Hobs

Gas is fast, efficient and easy to control. Plus you can visually adjust the flame so it has an intuitive quality that cooks love. As experts in cooking, we give you all the benefits you expect from a gas hob plus our own special touches like ergonomically designed controls for positive feel and precise operation.

Induction Cooking

Induction heating creates a magnetic field below the ceramic surface which transfers energy as heat to the pan above. If you switch on the cooking zone without a pan on top, nothing will happen. This is because the magnetic field is not complete until you place an iron-based pan on top - pans should be enameled steel, cast iron or magnetic stainless steel. Just as the pan completes the circuit, it automatically breaks the circuit when you remove it from the cooking zone. The power switches off and the area cools rapidly, making induction the safest and most energy-efficient way to cook.
